Sifu Francis Fong Taught a Three Hour class this week, he was as usual unbelievable. He taught elements of trapping hands and the first and second forms.
we Also had Sifu Risto hietala of Finland RIMA teach a three hour class he taught Muk Yan Chong Fa. Sifu Jon Taught 21 hours of Panatukan, Bukti Negara-Kun Taw Silat and elements of single stick sumbratas and hubads. Whilst Guro Dwight Wilson Taught Pumeling and Sticky Legs.

Instructor Camp Will Include a sesssion with Sifu Francis fong On 8/26/10. Cost for Sifu fong is $150 or
only $40 if you attended the wing chun seminar in april.
The Rister International Martial arts Association
will be conducting an Instructor Training Camp in august of 2010 all current instructors are encouraged to attend it will be four days Thursday , Friday,Sat, and Sun, Six hours each day, three day time and three at night. Each instructor will need to teach a segment. Please try to make arrangements to have a day or two off work. By Invitation ONLY cost is $250.00 payments are acceptable start paying $20 or so per month you will be golden by august! also a new hand Book will be handed out covering all weapon aspects of Kali Eskrima.

0623/09 We are delaying the school grappling tourney till later date due to illness of some of our students.
06/06/09 Mark your calendars! June 20, 09 @ 11 am we will be conducting a seminar to evaluate potential instructors for The JKD Association, founded by late Master Grappler and JKD Fighter Larry B. Hartsell. The training and tests will be conducted @ Rister martial arts at 11 am until completed. Please, bring a towel, MMA gloves, mat shoes and knee pads. Be prepared to demonstrate basic grappling skills on the mat takedowns, submissions and basic kicking and punching, as well as trapping skill.
